SHIPPING AND DELIVERY IN CONTIGUOUS U.S.
Please allow between two and eight days for shipping. * For non-local (outside Bay Area) deliveries, due to size and weight, your furniture order will be delivered to your driveway or curbside.** Placement of the item in the home and package removal is not provided unless specified. You must be present at the time of drop-off. When receiving, please handle with care as you would any new furniture. Although Galanter & Jones heated outdoor furniture is durable and intended for outdoor use, improper handling can damage your furniture. Place all furniture on the ground on the furniture feet only.
If you must lay furniture on its side please use a blanket, cardboard, or other soft surface. Additionally, use moving blankets to protect hard surfaces while moving to intended locations. Do not drag pieces over ground surfaces! Our pieces come with leveling feet to ensure that they sit flat wherever they are placed. Leveling feet may need adjustment depending on final placement.
We ship most orders via freight within the contiguous United States. Our shipping charges are intended to compensate for processing your order, packing and handling, crate and packaging, delivery, and other related overhead expenses.
*Rush order production and/or delivery can be arranged at an additional fee.
**In-home delivery is available at an additional cost.
HAWAII, ALASKA, CANADA, & INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
For international shipping, we will complete the required paperwork to ship our products; however, you are responsible for all additional paperwork, duty and taxes required prior to delivery.

RETURNS & DAMAGES
We offer a generous return policy of up to 30 days from receipt for unused product. To initiate your return simply, contact us directly at info@galanterandjones.com and we will coordinate your return shipping at no additional fee. All items must be returned in original condition and original packaging. Upon arrival at our warehouse, items will be inspected for damages. Customers will receive a refund confirmation via email. Original shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable. Please allow 7-10 business days for refunds to be processed on your credit card statement.
Upon delivery, accepting the shipment from the carrier is acknowledging the piece has been received in new condition. Therefore, it is imperative that you carefully inspect the product immediately. You should inspect the piece for structural cracks and/or chips, which may have occurred due to mishandling during shipping. If an order arrives damaged, please note “Possible Freight Damage” on the delivery receipt, take photos of the damage. Immediately contact us at 415-937-0336 or info@galanterandjones.com so we can arrange for a replacement and start a shipping claim. We will issue a Return Goods Authorization (RGA) number and schedule a replacement. Please save all pallets, packing materials and your damaged item for insurance purposes.
