All Local and Standard Delivery orders include Threshold Delivery. Your furniture is delivered to the threshold of your home. It is not brought inside your home or unit.
What “threshold” means
Houses: the first outdoor entry point the driver can safely reach. That could be just inside your front gate, at the top or bottom of exterior stairs, or in your open garage.
Apartments, condos, and other multi-unit buildings: at the building’s main entrance or lobby, not at your unit’s door. Drivers will bring the delivery inside the lobby or to a loading dock depending on the building.
How your furniture arrives
Within the Bay Area: boxed or blanket-wrapped, depending on the size and weight of your item.
Outside the Bay Area: by freight carrier, either boxed on a pallet or in a wooden crate, depending on the size and weight of your item.

White Glove Delivery brings your furniture inside your home, backyard or patio, places it where you want it, and includes unpacking and packaging removal. Pricing depends on your location. Contact hello@galanterandjones.com for a quote, before or after you order.
Your carrier will reach out in advance to schedule delivery. Before signing to accept the package, inspect your furniture for cracks or chips. If you see damage, write “possible freight damage” on the delivery receipt, take photos, and contact us within 48 hours at hello@galanterandjones.com or 415-937-0336. We’ll arrange a replacement and handle the freight claim.
Purchasing and shipping are available only within the 48 contiguous United States.
We cannot ship to PO Boxes, APO, FPO, or DPO addresses, or to freight forwarders.
