Handcrafted from our proprietary glass fiber reinforced concrete and set on powder-coated steel legs, the Kosmos Chair is built to last. A fully embedded radiant heating system warms the seat and sides for even, adjustable comfort—controlled by a simple dial. No screens, no apps—just warmth, made easy.

Powder-coated steel legs on the Chair and Lounge resist the elements, while a discreet drain keeps water from pooling—ready for daily use, rain or shine.

Handcrafted in our Philippines workshop, the Kosmos Chair and Lounge use a double-mold construction for precision in both form and function. The seats warm quickly and hold their heat efficiently—ideal for cool mornings or late nights outside. It’s a collection designed to perform, and to quietly elevate how you spend time outdoors.

Our products are built to withstand the elements with minimal maintenance. A quick wipe-down every few weeks is all it takes to keep them looking and performing great. 

Seasonal Best Practices

If your furniture will be unused for an extended period, we recommend moving it indoors or covering it with a waterproof tarp, secured with a bungee cord around the legs or base. To ensure proper drainage, check the built-in holes regularly and clear any blockages. For added protection, resealing kits are available upon request. 

Designed to Age Gracefully

Our furniture is made from cast stone—an incredibly durable material that’s built to last for decades and will develop character over time. You may notice natural signs of aging, such as subtle patina shifts or hairline cracks, which are common with concrete. These changes are part of your Galanter & Jones piece’s story and only enhance its beauty and uniqueness. 

Protective Covers, Made to Fit 

We’ve partnered with Couverture to offer made-to-order covers tailored to your exact G&J model. Durable and weather-resistant, these covers are ideal for long-term outdoor protection. Request a quote directly from Couverture using their custom order form. Include the name of your model (e.g., “Kosmos Chair” or “Apollo Lounge”) in your request.

We deliver throughout the contiguous U.S., with most orders arriving within 1–2 weeks of shipping. When your furniture is ready to go, you’ll receive an email from us to coordinate a delivery date and time. Live in the Bay Area? You can also pick up your order for free at our San Francisco workshop—just select “Local Pickup” at checkout.
